Celebrant
As a funeral celebrant, I work closely with families to create meaningful and personalized ceremonies that honor a life and reflect its unique stories, values, and experiences. I begin by meeting with family members to gather heartfelt stories, memories, and personal anecdotes that shape a beautiful tribute.
I understand that crafting a eulogy can be particularly challenging during a time of grief. Even the best public speakers may struggle to find the right words to express their feelings about a loved one. Searching through poetry, organizing music, and making all the necessary choices can feel overwhelming in the days following a loss. It can also be difficult to decide who you would like to speak, as well as who may not be the right fit. Having someone outside the intimate circle can help ease this burden—not to advise, but to listen, provide feedback, and support you through the process.
After our initial meeting, I take the time to thoughtfully craft a eulogy that captures the essence of your loved one. By drawing on the stories shared with me, I aim to create a tribute that honors their life and the impact they had on those around them.
I also guide you in selecting readings, music, and rituals that resonate with your loved one's spirit, ensuring that every detail contributes to a heartfelt and unique ceremony. My role is to support you in planning a celebration of life that honors not just the individual but also provides space for your family's grief and healing.
In addition to full ceremonies, I offer graveside services, or eulogies for private scattering of ashes, recognizing that smaller gatherings can also be deeply meaningful without the added pressure of a larger service.
Funeral celebrant services typically range from $600 to $1,000, depending on the scope and location of the service. Services honoring children are offered as a gift, ensuring that families can celebrate their loved ones without added financial stress.
Whether you envision a small gathering or a larger memorial, I am here to help navigate this difficult time, ensuring that your wishes are honored and your loved ones receive the comfort and grace they deserve.
